Questions and Answers

"List price" is the suggested retail price provided to us by our vendors. We make no representation that a substantial number of these products have been sold or offered for sale at the list price. Actual retail prices in your area may be substantially different. Since we sell products on a national basis, it is not possible to know if our merchandise is sold at list price in any particular location or at any particular time. "You Save" reflects the difference between our price and the vendor provided list price shown on our sites. Since the list price may be different than the actual retail prices in your area, you may not actually realize a savings of this amount.

Manufacturers sometimes ask that retailers not display a price if it drops below a certain amount. The "Click here to see Lowest Price" message indicates that the price of the item is so low that the manufacturer requested that it not be advertised (that is, displayed). In a brick-and-mortar store, you would probably have to ask a salesperson what the price of the product is. At eCOST, by clicking on "Click here to see Lowest Price" you are essentially asking to see the price, at which point we show it to you.

65 GB USB Flash Databank, 2012-09-06
By Ken Brookler
On the whole works well.
I was surprised that it was not Mac Os compatible and required disk utility to mount as a Mac compatible device.
Otherwise functions well.

Great price for a solid product.

Took just one call to find that I had to identify it in Disc Utility (Applications/Utilities), go under the ’erase’ tab and ’erase’ it. Worked fine and fast after that.

I wish that had been clear on t...

Can you transfer directly to this flash drive from a camera/camera card?

Asked by David Watkins Jr from NY | May 28, 2012

Best Answer

You cannot directly transfer photo or video clips from camera (or camera card) to a flash drive. You will need another device (such as a computer) or a memory card duplicator (which more expensive)if you do not want to use a computer.

Does this drive have password protection

Brooke: I don't have the drive, but I did some research and it seems likely that it does not. Indeed, none of the 10+ thumb drives I've bought has had password protection. HOWEVER, if you use Mac OSX you can use Disk Utility to 1) format the drive for OS X (which will speed it up a lot vs the usual WIndows-type format these things come in) and 2) Install one or more disk images that can be encrypted and password protected. I've done this to create a disk image for personal files, in case the thumb drive is lost. You can also use OS X to encrypt the entire volume, if you wish. There are also third-party applications that will create encrypted/password-protected "vaults."
