It is integrated the technology of mobility with 3G and 802.11 WiFi, and also built-in the heritage security features of ZyWALL 2 series for Remote Office and SOHO. Having 3G supports, ZyWALL 2WG is able to access the internet without wired requirement. Combining with wired environment, it further supports WAN backup and load balancing in diversity application. WiFi offers the 802.11a/b/g mobility of environment for the LAN users. With the heritage of ZyWALL 2 security feature set, it provides the state of art protection against the threat and attack from Internet.

The ZyWALL 2WG supports ZyNOS ICSA certified IPSec VPN suitable for remote site to central server deployment. Data encryption over the Internet ensures secure transmission between two sites, eliminating the necessity for expensive leased lines, and enabling global interconnectivity at a minimal expense. With Redundant IPSec VPN feature, ZyWALL 2WG dialup client will not be lost the connection when primary VPN connection fails.

The ZyNOS ICSA Firewall certified the ZyWALL 2WG provides robust firewall protection and reliable security with high performance. Based on Stateful Packet inspection and Denial of Service (DoS) technology, it provides the first line of defense against hackers, network intruders, and other hazardous threats.

Secure Zones Technology
The ZyWALL 2WG offers users the security zone that SOHO can simply deploy their access server at DMZ zone separate from the trusted local network (LAN). The DMZ zone and WLAN zone have its own DHCP service and all zones are securely separated by firewall rules.
