Network-enable any serial device for wireless access and control with remote Web browser-based configuration, administration and troubleshooting. High-performance Quatech Wireless Device Servers offer industry-best features like WPA security, fast and easy installation, Freescale® (formerly Motorola) digital dna microprocessor, the fastest data transfer rate, Auto TCP and Ultra Low Latency mode. Available in 1 and 2 port RS-232 and RS-232/422/485 versions. Options include surge suppression and 5v power output (with standard surge suppression). Single-port AirborneDirect models (extended temp range and entry-level prices) are also available.
In addition, Quatech's high performance line provides SNMP support for simple network management and virtual COM port drivers for Windows NT4, 2000, XP and Linux. Raw TCP and UDP modes allow direct access from almost any operating system, and our exclusive IntelliSockâ„¢ TCP socket service allows for on-the-fly customization of the serial port for each data transmission. Quatech device servers may be set up as a Client or Server, or use the AutoTCP feature and operate as a Client to one computer while a Server to another (excellent for remote service needs).
