I bought one of these for my parents. They're not very tech-savvy and they often delete stuff accidentally. I set this up to backup all their files automatically so now if they delete something I can get it back. And they think it looks pretty.

I use this to store my music library, e-books and work documents. There is only one cable - USB 3.0, but it's backward compatible with USB 2.0, so I can plug it into my (older) laptop at work. It looks very nice, and seems to be solidly built.
