Setting up QuickBooks Point of Sale 2013 is as simple as answering a few questions about your business. Your inventory can be entered manually or imported from an Excel spreadsheet, speeding up the setup process. Employee and customer data can also be imported via Excel or through integration with QuickBooks Financial software. Once set up, the software is as easy to use as clicking the "make sale" button.
QuickBooks Point of Sale 2013 provides ample tools to train your employees on the nuances of the software. Built-in tutorials guide you through various features & functionality of the software, giving you step by step tips on on the different aspects of QuickBooks Point of Sale. If you want to test out these new techniques, QuickBooks Point of Sale offers a Practice database File, so you don't have to worry about making changes to your live database file.
Mobile POS is a new addition QuickBooks Point of Sale 2013, allowing you to sell products on the road at trade shows, farmer's markets, or any other field sales opportunity. Simply install Intuit's app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device, configure it to your QuickBooks Point of Sale settings, and you can transfer portions of your inventory to the device. While on the road, card payment can be accepted using Intuit's GoPayment card reader. Once back in the store, inventory is re-synchronized, ensuring accuracy throughout the process.
