For the ultimate in driver-friendly technology in all lighting conditions, the CBs are illuminated by solid-state electro-luminescent backlighting powered by a dedicated integrated circuit and incorporate a variable dimmer control which adjusts the brightness of the entire front panel, including the channel display, signal strength meter and status LEDs.The line of NightWatch CB radios incorporates Cobra's exclusive, patent-pending SoundTracker technology, which reduces static and airwave noise by up to 90 percent.
