LevelOne’s WBR-3406TX is a high-performance Wireless Broadband Router that complies with IEEE 802.11b/g and integrates a 4-port switch. Up to 4 workstations can be connected to this router by 4 Ethernet ports that support 10/100 Mbps data transfer rate and auto MDI/MDIX function. The device approaches the ISP by supporting multiple connections such as in static IP addresses, dynamic IP addresses, PPPoE and PPTP communication and share the Internet connections through both wired or wireless environment. WBR-3406TX supports not only NAT firewall with SPI mode to protect the network against DoS attacks but also featured VPN function including IPSec, PPTP, L2TP pass through to prevent unwanted access by potential hackers. Regarding to the wireless security, WBR-3406TX provides 64/128 WEP encryption, WPA-PSK and 802.1x authentication. In order to keep up with changing technologies, web-based firmware upgrade is easily carried out. With the Web-based management interface, system configuration and maintenance is not a problem for WBR-3406TX. By using a general browser, the menu will walk you through the whole configuration procedure. Those interfaces allow users to configure all advanced settings of the WBR-3406TX, including access restrictions, administration and user passwords, and system logs from anywhere on the Internet.
