How does it work?
Platinum Premium Countdown®. shopping format offers more than 100 close-out, recertified and deeply discounted deals in extremely limited quantities for an extremely limited time. Platinum Premium® Countdown® offers are time sensitive and only available to Platinum Premium Countdown® members. Based on the popularity of an offer, an icon will appear to alert the customer of the item’s current popularity. Each offer indicates quantity of items remaining for a current offer and the time remaining to purchase the product. After the offer has expired, the product is removed from Platinum Countdown® and may no longer be available at the previously deeply discounted price.

Refresh Rates: Every 60 seconds.. The server rebuilds product data including Quantity Left, demand, and other elements. Every 30 seconds.. The browser calls the server and refreshes the page with any new data available.

Said simply, we decrement the offer automatically, time based, removing a unit from the offer, or we decrement actual demand for the product, whichever is higher at the time of measurement.

What do the bargain demand status icons mean?
The current status area of Platinum Premium® Countdown will display various icons during the timed offer depending on customer activity and status of an offer. These alert the customer to items available for sale, items that are trending to run out of quantity before the timed end of the offer, and items that are no longer offered, due to expired quantity and or expired time period.
