I ordered two of these because I need a portable USB that I do not need to handle like eggs. I have a Mac Air and MacBook Pro. When I got the drives, the program to make them compatible with a MAC file system would not run as it was an old program ...

Just plugged it in and go! Great for Time Machine backups and there is still lots of space left. Also partitioned the drive for sharing with PC's.
