The drive appears to work properly--that's about all one can expect. I have the drive daisy-chained to another FireWire 800 drive, with no problems. Transfers between the drives are very fast.

I have only had this drive for a short time but so far I am impressed with it. It is fast (I am using Firewire 800). I plan on buying another one and daisy chaining it in the near future.
