Plugged it into my 24" MAC. Turned on fan and a warning popped up on my MAC disabling all other USB devices connected in order to protect the computer. NO AC adapters provided.

Fan came right away. Does not have a dimmer switch as described. Low flow of air. It indeed runs on the USB power. I do not intend to use.
