Works great! 15 - 20 seconds and you are off. My XP system would take 2-4 MIN. to start. The experience index scores are as follows. Processor 8.0, Memory 8.0, Graphics 2.0 GB card 6.7, Gaming graphics 6.8 GB total available graphics memory 6.7, Primary hard drive 5.9. The overall score is 5.9 due to the lowest score of the hard drive.
My unit came with 10 GB using 3 of 4 memory slots. So to add up to 8 GB none of the original memory has to be discarded, win win. The motherboard and operating system should be able to use up to 32 GB memory if needed. Memory usage is 1.6-1.7 GB while not working hard. The 10 GB memory gives me confidence that it will keep up with my needs for quite some time.
USB 3.0, 2 on top and 2 in back and USB 2.0, 2 in front and 4 in back makes it easy to find the right spot for your flash memory or USB device.
Windows 8, takes some getting used to. I was very comfortable with XP. I have a Vista laptop and do not like the OS at all. Windows 8 comes with pros and cons, however way better than Vista.
