The iPad mini pops right in easily, the magnetic front cover puts the iPad to sleep when closed, it doesn't add much weight, keeping the iPad mini very light and easy to use.
It's not a fancy cover but is a simple, workable and very affordable cover, to purchase something like this elsewhere costs more than three times what this cost, I did look around : )
