I bought this unit after doing some research, and all in all, it has lived up to my expectations. I haven't experienced any issues with the noise levels, the unit does hum a bit, but nothing out of the norm. Setting up RAID 1 was easy, it halved the storage capacity, but that's the price to pay for extra data redundancy.
