Four or five years ago I had another Western Digital External Hard Drive and I was not happy so I avoided WD. Western Digital has improved. Set-up was easy and smooth. I have an ancient G4 eMac at school and am terrified I will lose files so I am obsessive in backing-up. Thank goodness for Time Machine. I have had this only for a couple of weeks but so far so good. Customer service helped me choose this HD when the one I planned to buy was unavailable. Great choice and great price.
