I purchases Desktop 7 to be able to run Windows XP on my Mac Mini so I could still run StarCraft. Installation was straight forward. There are still glitches in PD7 that are mostly annoyances. It's not always clear how to choose different PD7 settings. The way PD7 presents Wind XP, is NOT exactly the same as you would see it on a PC, but the difference is hardly noticeable. There's an annoying PD7 window that ALWAYS shows up when quitting PD7. Some how I got my App (StarCraft) window into a small setting and couldn't figure out how to get back to full screen. I continually get a warning that PD7 doesn't recognize my external CD drive, but StarCraft runs and recognizes the game CD. Overall, I'm fairly satisfied with this PD7 solution that allows me to continue using StarCraft since LION does not support Rosetta which is needed on PRE LION operating systems to be able to run StarCraft. I have NOT tried to run SNOW LEOPARD under PD7 to see if that works. My last experience was with "Virtual PC" which I was NOT happy with so I was reluctant to buy PD7. OVERALL I am NOT UNHAPPY with PD7.
