  WD My Book Studio 3TB External Drive,  2012-10-12

needed a drive big enough to handle my ever expanding media content collection... this drive fit the bill for volume, price, speed, connectivity options, & relative ruggedness... this unit is one of six WD external drives i have attached to three different mac systems, and while no drive is completely fail proof, my experience is that WD drives have failed me later rather than sooner... highly recommended & would buy again...
