I've bough this portable hard drive relatively recently. I use it for different projects at college and to exchange videos, music and photos with friends. This particular model was chosen because of its shockproof design and portability. 500GB is more than enough for me. The design is very cool. By default the rubber part is orange but you can buy additional rubber bumpers of other colors. The performance has been very good so far. I love that I can password protect the drive. The setup was very easy. Truly plug-and-play. I'm very glad I bought this one.
