Once I sorted out the type I needed , This snapped in , a few minutes later it was up and running in the Dual core iMac . I do a lot of post processing of photos , Raw files , photoshop , Capture one . Even with the four GB of RAM the iMac 3.06 GHz would choke with large files .

I would guess better than twice as fast on process large images . I would recommend it .
