  The Old iMac Meets the New 24,  2009-12-05

Wonderful product! I highly recommend this if you’ve got an older Mac and want to hook it up to the new 24" LCD Cinema Display. Very seamless install and works like you’d expect. Haven’t had any issues with flickering or shutting off. My 2007 24" iMac detected the display immediately. Gefen has closed the huge gap for Apple’s lack of making their products universally compatible. I wasn’t happy after finding out I couldn’t hook my iMac up to the new Cinema Display. I searched Google for hours looking for a solution and it was till just recently I came across a competitors version of Gefen, but it was much higher. Thankfully the store had this and I couldn’t believe the price and how well it worked. Definitely worth the $82.
