5. I tried to install all the suggested updates at the same time, but virtually all of them failed, for reasons I cannot guess. I adopted a different strategy of installing the critical updates (highlighted in red) first, one at a time, then installing the other updates singly or two at a time. This seemed to work okay, but there were a few updates that didn’t appear to work until another update was successfully installed first.

6. The unit comes with one 2GB SODIMM of PC6400 DDR2 RAM. There is an open slot for expansion. 4GB SODIMM’s are available and the unit is rated for 8GB of RAM total. Note that DIMM’s must be paired (same size and speed) to achieve DDR2 data rates.

7. This is a tablet PC, with a stylus that fits into a slot on the back left side of the PC (along with a cord that keeps you from losing it).
