3. The unit comes with Windows 7 Professional (64-bit).
4. I was able to connect to my wireless networks at work and at home with no problem. I went immediately to the HP web site to check for updated software and found there are plenty of entries for Win7x64. I found a listing for the "HP SoftPaq Download Manager" which is intended to detect all the updates you need, allow you to select the ones you want, then download and install them for you. When I selected to install the SoftPaq Download Manager (SDM), it started the installation, only to bring up a window saying that there was an update to the SDM. Apparently the SDM listed on the HP site is not the most current version. Installing the most current version suggested does get you where you want to be.
