  just what I was looking for,  2012-11-06

This drive has exactly the interfaces I want -- FW800 for my slightly older iMacs and macmini, and USB3 for the new MacBook Air and my PCs. The drive is bus powered, runs silently and is barely warm to the touch. The enclosure appears to be well padded on the inside, which does makes it a bit bulky.
