More than I bargained for! LaCie Porsche Design HDD is stylish and sleek with an aluminum body that matches my MacBook Pro exactly. At 500 GB for around $50, this is almost half the price of a new one at the Apple Store! This refurb looks new, works like new. There's no difference! Also, you get extra software and security packed inside.

What I did not know is that the HDD has the ability to partition which amount of space you want to dedicate specifically for Mac computers vs. PC. If you do make the partition, it will appear on your computer as two different HDD so you can drag and drop different kinds of files into either folder, depending on how you move about between computers.

I recommend a case to keep the HDD looking beautiful. I ended up getting a LaCie Cozy case for 2.5" HDD.
