  Samsung 7" Galaxy Tab 2,  2013-01-18

This tablet is the perfect tool for me. It runs the most common apps that I use such as Kindle, Facebook, Pinterest, and apps for reading and creating documents. The Overdrive app for reading books from the library works well. I can read and send email from Yahoo, listen to my music I have on an SD card, view and send pictures......and it still fits in my purse!

I am an Apple enthusiast and have used the iPad in a classroom setting..this device is lower in price, but NOT in quality and performance. The camera is a great addition.

I did purchase a micro SD card so I could have more memory at hand if necessary. I like to store my personal pictures and music on the card for easy transfer to another device.

I liked this device (and its price) so much that I purchased one for my son. His school now allows tablets from home to be used in the classroom. He has already simplified his "to do" list and organized his calendar...no small feat for a middle school boy. Its size is perfect for a booksack even after the Otterbox case is in place.
