Good deal on Bluetooth Headset, 2013-02-28 By Gary Fink
The BlueAnt Wireless T1 is a good sounding headset. I am using it with an iPhone 4S. The battery life seems to be very good and it's constructed well. It took a little futzing to configure the earloop to fit my ear well, but once I figured out the best position, it worked well.
Setting up the headset was easy and it's nice that it announces the callers from the contacts list. You can then answer the phone hands free by saying "answer" - a nice convenience. Sound quality is better than my previous Samsung headsets, which is a big plus. It comes with a charger, 2 covers, several rubber ear "buds" and 2 earloops.
A few drawbacks: The main button to initiate calls is small and takes a while to get used to finding. It is a little less convenient to use than my Samsung headset: In order to use voice controls, you push the button, and have to say "phone commands" and then listen to the headset speak to you for a few seconds before activating Siri. With my Samsung, pushing the button activated Siri immediately. It comes with 2 rubber "covers" which make the headset bigger and uglier, the only reason I could see for using them is to cover up the charging port.
All in all a good headset, and at $20, a good value.
