I installed the SSD as a desktop cloned replacement for a 12K rpm HDD. The SSD works great, totally silent as expected and applications open much faster compared with my old HDD. I'm was somewhat disappointed that there was little improvement in the boot up time but overall I'm satisfied, considering that the drive costs $129.99 after the $40 rebate. Note that the drive does not come with any accessories (mount screws/brackets, cables) whatsoever.
