  Good sound - no noise isolation,  2012-02-16

The actual sound of these headphones is excellant! However, the electronic noise cancellation feature does not work. Inserting the ear pieces, then turning on / off the electronic noise cancellation feature does nothing to cancel ambient noise. I have several other electronic niose cancellation headphones that work and clearly I can detect the difference when the niose cancellation feature is active with my other models. It may be that I purchased "re-conditioned" model, and received a dud! I don't know. But, because the sound is so good, I will keep them to use as regular headphones when I have no need for noise cancellation.
