  Excellent Hard Drive,  2013-03-25

I really like this unit. I've two of them, hooked up over FireWire 800, which gives me 3TB total external storage space (this new 2TB drive and an older 1TB unit). I suppose I could have bought a new one to replace the old drive, but it works so well that I'm reluctant to throw it out. My set up works great, performs any task quickly, however complex, and the transfer speed is excellent.
