The ViewSonic 24" monitor was exactly as described. I cannot rate the long-term value but for the first month it has been great without any problems at all. It is performing great and allows my near-sightedness to be overcome with the large screen images possible.

I do not use my computer to play games so cannot describe the refresh rate or those type items but for a general purpose, large screen monitor it works very well.
