  Nice monitor,  2010-12-09

I wanted to replace my 17"CRT and this seemed to fit the bill. It arrived and initially I wasn't able to connect because my PC did not have a DVI connector. Now I find out that I need to upgrade my video graphics card so that I can fully use this monitor. Otherwise this monitor is great. The backlighting is bright and I like the wide screen. The built in speakers help to reduce clutter on a small desk. Some people complain about the blue power light, but it doesn't bother me. Right now I am using the VGA hookup and it is going well. All in all, I like this alot and because it only weighs 7 lbs, I want to use a wall mount to hang it so I clear more area off my desk. Excellent price and great features. Good value that I woudl reccommend.
