  Don’t Buy It.,  2009-02-04

I bought the memory upgrade when I bought my macbook in October of 2007, by January, my computer crashed. I went without a computer (at college) for the next 2 months while my computer was passed through every tech support person I could find, and no one could figure out what was wrong with it. They eventually had to send it in to Apple and completely erase my hard drive. The computer worked great for about a month to two months before it crashed...again... After I sent it back to Apple and they erased the hard drive, again, they told me that it was the extra memory that I had installed. After I took out the extra memory and replaced the original memory, I haven’t had a single problem with my computer. I would suggest a different memory chip.
