Placing an Item in Your Cart
Once you have found an item that interests you, simply click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button. This button can be found on any item's detail page, to the right of the price information. When you have finished adding items to your Shopping Cart, click the Shopping Cart icon (in the top right corner of every page of our site). This is the beginning of the ordering process.
Changing Item Quantities
If you wish to buy multiple quantities of an item you have placed in your Shopping Cart, change the number in the "Qty" box. Be sure to click the "Update" button at the bottom of your list of Shopping Cart items to confirm any changes.
Deleting Items from Your Cart
If you wish to delete an item in your Shopping Cart, click the "Trashcan" button that appears to the extreme right of any item in your Shopping Cart.
Saving Your Cart
At this time, we do not have the ability to systematically retain the contents of your shopping cart for longer than one hour if you should choose to exit our Web Site before completing the ordering process.

Regular Checkout
This is the standard method to finish checkout. You will be prompted to set up an account with eCOST.com using a combination of your email address and a secret password. Once your billing and shipping addresses have been set up, you will be prompted to select your shipping method, preview your invoice total and then enter your credit or debit card information. The final step is an invoice copy will be presented on the screen for you to print out on your local printer.

How does Bargain Countdown® work?
Bargain Countdown® is an exercise in scarcity. We offer a set quantity of product at an exceptional value within a set time period. Does this mean the full quantity of a given offer will be fully sold in a given time period? No, not necessarily.
Bargain Countdown’s offers are time sensitive. For instance, an offer of 60 units for 60 minutes will decrement one unit per minute (actual decrement times and refresh rates to follow), automatically, and that unit will be removed from the offer (in order to be offered at a later time, or not at all, or at a different price depending on each unique offer). Our servers also check our intended purchases of our customers and if this exceeds the automatic decrement, we will show the remainder of the offer quantity available. Small variations may occur for customers eliminating a Bargain Countdown item in checkout.
Refresh Rates:
Every 60 seconds.. The server rebuilds product data including Quantity Left, demand, and other elements.
Every 30 seconds.. The browser calls the server and refreshes the page with any new data available.
Said simply, we decrement the offer automatically, time based, removing a unit from the offer, or we decrement actual demand for the product, whichever is higher at the time of measurement.
What do the Bargain Demand Status icons mean?
The current status area of Bargain Countdown will display various icons during the timed offer depending on customer activity and status of an offer. These alert the customer to items available for sale, items that are trending to run out of quantity before the timed end of the offer, and items that are no longer offered, due to expired quantity and or expired time period. See the Bargain Countdown page for what each icon indicates.
Bargain Countdown® Policies
eCOST.com’s BARGAIN COUNTDOWN® features limited time offers on great products, many of which have limited quantities available. Bargain Countdown® is NOT an Auction. The “Quantity Left” number is set to update approximately every 60 seconds. Internet Connection Speed, Bandwidth, Increased Site Traffic and other technical factors may delay Real Time Update of the “Quantity Left” and “Time Remaining” counters. High Sales Velocity and Delayed Checkout may cause an item to sell out before the time indicated on the site. eCOST.com will make every effort to secure additional inventory, but we reserve the right to cancel orders on Bargain Countdown® items if the available quantity has sold out and or the order is received after the end of the time period indicated.
Given the limited time and restricted quantity offers in Bargain Countdown®, eCOST.com may at times have to restrict the number of such items that you may purchase. It is eCOST.com’s current policy to limit purchase quantities of an item per household or business of a Bargain Countdown® offer. Quantity available to purchase will be shown when the item is added to the shopping cart. We will try to accommodate our customer’s demand for a product, our goal is to reward as many customers as possible for their loyalty to eCOST.com. If you have ordered more than this quantity, we will let you know if we can accommodate your request.

Outrageous Offer
Outrageous Offer is only available in the Bargain Countdown® and Platinum Premium Countdown® and valid for online orders only. No phone orders. The Outrageous Offer quantity limits will vary from product to product. The quantity available for purchase will be shown in cart. If you get the Outrageous Offer , your cart will show the Outrageous Offer price and quantity available for purchase. If the Outrageous Offer price is not shown when item is added to cart, the offer has expired. Once the item is sold out or offered at its regular price, the Outrageous Offer is expired. No back orders, rain checks or waiting lists for the items.

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic, or technical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, eCOST.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.
If an item’s correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.
If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel your order and notify you of the price error and order cancellation. You will, of course, have an opportunity to purchase the item at the correct price, if you so wish.
While we make every attempt to verify prices before charging your credit card, eCOST.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed on mis-priced product whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, eCOST.com shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
We believe that day-in, day-out, our pricing is very attractive relative to our competition. Combined with our product assortment, product availability and service level, we believe that we offer a compelling shopping experience. With that in mind, we do not “match” competitor’s pricing, offer price protection, or provide “quantity quotes."

If you would like to modify an existing order, please call us Toll Free at . If we receive your phone request within two hours of order placement, we may be able to modify the order before it is sent to the warehouse. In many cases, however, the order may be too far gone in the picking and shipping process to be modified and/or stopped.

For an item marked "usually ships same day" (the sun symbol) on our site, we require the order to be entered on our Web Site AND credit approved no later than 2:00pm Pacific/5:00pm Eastern, and the order will probably ship that business day.
For an item marked "usually ships next day" (the moon symbol) on our site, we require the order to be entered on our Web Site AND credit approved no later than 2:00pm Pacific/5:00pm Eastern, and the order will probably ship the next business day.
For an item marked "order" (the truck symbol) on our site, we will accept that order and attempt to fulfill your order in a timely manner. We encourage you to check the Order Status for an estimated ship date or contact Customer Service. We will leave the order open and attempt to fulfill it, unless you notify us to cancel the order.
Orders over 150lbs. must be entered on our Web Site AND credit approved no later than 12:00pm Pacific/3:00pm Eastern for same day shipment.
Orders placed and credit approved anytime Saturday or Sunday for items in stock will ship on the next business day. Please note that our warehouses do not ship on Saturday, Sunday or major holidays.
Orders placed and/or credit approved later than the applicable warehouse cut-off time will ship the next business day.
Product availability, geographic location and other factors determine the warehouse location that your product ships from. This determination is made automatically and cannot be manually overridden by eCOST.com customer service personnel.

We define it as an international order when the order is to ship to an address outside the 50 United States of America or Canada.
