The QZ50 creates an invisible shield between the listener and the droning sounds of the world by stopping low frequency noise before it reaches the ears. The tiny microphones embedded in the earcups send the incoming low frequency noise and send it to a processor also located in the earcups.
The processor, in turn generates a mirror image in the form of a signal that acts as an "anti-wave" that is 180 degrees out of phase with the outside low frequency. The two waves counteract each other resulting in a reduction of the low frequency repetitive noise.
Designed as a compact, all inclusive stereophone unit, the QZ50 features a behind-the-head headband design for maximum comfort and wearer flexibility during long listening periods. Closed ear cushions provide additional isolation from ambient sound and retain the bass frequencies for an enjoyable listening experience. The QZ50 features iron boron magnet structures and oxygen free copper voice coils for a frequency response of 30-20,000 Hz and clean, clear sound reproduction. Using one "AAA" battery, the QZ50 delivers approximately 50 hours of battery life.
Ideal for reducing jet engine noise during airline travel, the QZ50 is also a perfect accessory wherever ambient noise is excessive.
