It records images with a resolution up to 7.1 megapixels, and features a 2.5" display, PASM modes, auto-image enhancement, on-camera cropping, histogram and a vast array of user-friendly features. Furthermore, the advanced controls available allow users to dive into photography and achieve more satisfying results. Kodak's proprietary color science chip yields pictures with natural details, accurate flesh tones, and impressive color. The EasyShare Z712 camera also records TV-quality videos at up to 30 frames per second (fps) using advanced MPEG-4 compression while the built-in image stabilization technology reduces on-screen shaking from unintentional hand and camera movement, thereby making videos smoother and more pleasing to watch.
