Fujifilm FinePix S100fs 11.1 Megapixel Digital Camera - 15781764 The Fujifilm FinePix S100fs (Film Simulation) digital camera provides an all-in-one solution for photo enthusiasts and advanced amateur photographers seeking the manual controls and functionality of a Digital-SLR, without the hassle and expense of additional lenses and other accessories. It is equipped with a 14.3x Fujinon zoom lens (28 - 400mm equivalent) to capture a broad range of subjects from wide-angle landscapes to extreme telephoto for sports and wildlife shooting. It also has Fujifilm's SuperCCD VIII HR with 11 MegaPixels of resolution for sharp, detailed pictures, and the RP (Real Photo) III processor that provides fast operation and advanced shooting capabilities. The FinePix S100fs also incorporates some of the features found in the FinePix S5 Pro - Fujifilm's flagship professional camera; including film simulation (fs) modes, advanced bracketing functions, and settings that expand the camera's dynamic range to a range similar to that of negative film. The FinePix S100fs is well suited to shooting in low light conditions with ISO capabilities of up to ISO 6400 at 6 MegaPixels and an incredible ISO 10,000 at 3 MegaPixels. Photographers will appreciate the ease of use afforded by the camera's Dual Image Stabilization system which combines optical image stabilization and digital picture stabilization for sharp images that do not exhibit blur resulting from subject or camera movement. Portrait or group pictures are made easy with Fujifilm's acclaimed Face Detection 2.0 Technology with Automatic Red Eye Removal. The camera also provides versatility when it comes to framing and viewing your pictures. The high resolution 2.5" Wide View LCD display provides for smooth viewing and the ability to easily frame your images from odd angles thanks to its tilting capability. The Electronic viewfinder (EVF) both saves power and allows for easier framing of your images when shooting under very bright daylight conditions. The High-Speed Preview function allows you to immediately view the entire content of your memory card - playing back your captured images at a speed of 10 fps which makes it easy to retrieve the image you want. Thanks to the high-resolution of the LCD, users can display, and clearly view up to 100 thumbnail images simultaneously in a 10 x 10 array, so that you can quickly find and select specific photos to view or print. Other helpful features found on the FinePix S100fs include the ability to add an external flash unit - either on the hot shoe, or off camera using the PC Socket; Full Manual Photographic Control for total control of the camera settings; a Movie Mode that captures VGA quality clips at 30 fps with sound; High-Speed Continuous Shooting with the ability to capture up to 7 frames per second (at 3 MP resolution); and compatibility with xD-Picture, SD and SDHC type memory cards.
